BLINK-182 AND LIL WAYNE TO CO-HEADLINE DAILY’S PLACE

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Bold Events and Live Nation today announced that blink-182 and Lil Wayne will bring their summer tour to Daily’s Place on Monday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m. They will be joined by special guest, Neck Deep. Tickets for the newly announced performance will go on sale to the general public at www.dailysplace.combeginning Friday, May 10 at noon. Lil Wayne has sold over 100 million records worldwide, including more than 15 million albums and 37 million digital tracks in the United States, making him one of the best-selling artists of all-time. He’s released 12 studio albums, including “Tha Carter II” in 2008, which featured the hit single, “Lollipop” and won a Grammy award for Best Rap Album.

 

Blink-182 has produced seven studio albums, including “California” in 2016. “California” earned a No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 and the album’s lead single, “Bored to Death” was No. 1 on Billboard’s alternative songs chart. The album also earned the band their first nomination for Best Rock Album at the Grammy Awards.

 

Since its grand opening in May 2017, Daily’s Place has become the leading destination for live entertainment and events in Northeast Florida.  Adjacent to TIAA Bank Field, the home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, the state-of-the-art venue encompasses a 5,500-seat covered amphitheater and flex field, which serves as both an indoor team practice facility and public event space.
