Daily’s Place to welcome Steely Dan & The Doobie Brothers on May 13

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bold Events and Live Nation today announced that Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers will visit Daily’s Place this spring when they co-headline the “Summer of Living Dangerously” North American tour.  The American rock legends will be at the amphitheater on Sunday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at www.dailysplace.com beginning on Friday, January 12 at 10 a.m. EST.  Jags365 and Daily’s Rewards Members will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, January 11 at 10 a.m. EST.   For complete ticket information including all presales and ticket prices, please click here. 

Founded in 1972, Steely Dan has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and helped define the soundtrack of the ‘70s with hits such as “Reelin’ in the Years,” “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” and “Babylon Sisters,” from their seven platinum albums issued between 1972 and 1980. In 2000, they released “Two Against Nature,” which took home the Grammy for “Album of the Year.” Steely Dan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

The Doobie Brothers have been delivering rock and roll for over four decades, selling more than 48 million albums and winning four Grammy Awards. Their latest studio album, Southbound, features new recordings of the band’s biggest hits, with country music’s biggest stars including Blake Shelton, Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley and Toby Keith. Their No. 1 singles “Black Water” and “What a Fool Believes” lead a catalog of indelible songs that include “Listen To The Music,” “Jesus Is Just All Right,” and “Takin’ it to the Streets.” In all, the Doobies have tallied five top 10 singles and 16 top 40 hits.

Daily’s Place opened in May 2107 adjacent to EverBank Field, the home of the National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars.  A partnership between the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville, the state-of-the-art facility’s 5,500-seat amphitheater and indoor practice facility welcomed more than 200,000 attendees to events and concerts in 2017.  The new amphitheater has hosted performances by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Zac Brown Band, Chicago and Santana.  Details on all concerts coming to Daily’s Place can be found at www.dailysplace.com.
