LYNYRD SKYNYRD ROCKS THE RED, WHITE & BLUE

A Benefit Concert for our Nation's Heroes

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Southern rock legends and hometown icons Lynyrd Skynyrd return to Jacksonville for a powerful, one-night-only concert: Lynyrd Skynyrd Rocks the Red, White & Blue, taking place Saturday, November 8 at Daily’s Place. This special benefit event will raise funds and awareness for St. Michael’s Soldiers, supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.

This concert marks a meaningful homecoming for the band as they take the stage in support of a cause close to their hearts. The night will blend iconic music, hometown pride, and heartfelt purpose — rallying the Jacksonville community around service, sacrifice, and giving back. Proceeds will benefit St. Michael’s Soldiers.

Jaguars Season Ticket Members, Daily’s Place BLUE and Daily’s Place Subscribers will have access to presale tickets Monday, August 11 at 10 a.m. through Tuesday, August at 12 p.m. General on-sale begins Wednesday, August 13 at 10 a.m. For more information visit dailysplace.com.

During its first phase--from the mid-60s to 1977-- Lynyrd Skynyrd redefined the concept of Southern Rock on five studio albums and the incendiary, breakthrough 1976 live set One More from the Road--all of which went Top 30 on the Billboard 200 chart. Ronnie Van Zant's poetry was launched skyward by the guitar artistry of Gary Rossington and Allen Collins and, at different times, Ed King and Steve Gaines. One anthem after another hit rock radio stations, including “Free Bird,” “Sweet Home Alabama” and many more.

Skynyrd's second phase has certainly been a productive one—with 10 more studio/live albums, including their most recent project, “Celebrating 50 Years - Live At The Ryman” Christmas Time Again in 2000, and Top 30 releases such as Vicious Cycle and Gods & Guns. There have been more hits, too, such as “Red, White and Blue,” "Keeping the Faith," "Good Livin's Hard to Find" and a rendition of Howlin' Wolf's "Smokestack Lightning," among others. In 2006 Skynyrd was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
