RISING POP STAR TROYE SIVAN TO APPEAR AT DAILY’S PLACE
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Live Nation and Bold Events today announced that rising pop star Troye Sivanwill headline Daily’s Place on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. The 22-year-old singer, songwriter and YouTube personality will be joined in support by Kim Petras andLeland. Sivan’s new album, “Bloom” will be released by Capitol Records on Aug. 31. The album’s lead single “My My My!” was the top trending topic worldwide on Twitter after its release in January. Combined global streams of the track are approaching 200 million. He appeared on NBC’s "TODAY” earlier this week, performing “My My My” and his newest single, “Bloom.” All tickets for North American tour dates will include a CD copy of Sivan’s new album.
Sivan’s 2015 debut album, “Blue Neighbourhood,” topped the iTunes charts in 66 countries, has sold more than 2.5 million adjusted albums worldwide and is certified Gold in the U.S. Streams across all platforms exceed 2.5 billion while video views have surpassed 500 million. Associated Press named “Blue Neighbourhood” as the No. 1 album of 2015 and Rolling Stone awarded it four stars. The single “Youth” claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Club Play chart and has been certified Platinum in the U.S. Sivan has appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone, Out and V Magazine. His numerous awards include a Billboard Music Awards trophy and two GLAAD Media wins.
Daily’s Place opened in May 2017 adjacent to EverBank Field, the home of the National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars. A partnership between the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville, the state-of-the-art facility’s 5,500-seat amphitheater and indoor practice facility welcomed more than 200,000 attendees to events and concerts in 2017. The new amphitheater has hosted performances by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Zac Brown Band, Diana Ross and Santana.
