TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND KICKING OFF 2019 TOUR AT DAILY’S PLACE

“Wheels of Soul” 2019 summer tour to visit downtown Jacksonville June 28

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bold Events and Live Nation today announced that hometown favorite Tedeschi Trucks Band will return to Daily’s Place next year to kick off their “Wheels of Soul” 2019 summer tour alongside special guests Blackberry Smoke and opener Shovels & Rope.  The 12-member Tedeschi Trucks Band will bring their blend of American soul, blues, rock and country to the amphitheater on Friday, June 28 at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale to the general public atwww.dailysplace.com beginning on Friday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. EST.  Jags365 and Daily’s Rewards Members will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. EST.   For complete ticket information including all presales and ticket prices, please click here. 

Led by the husband and wife team of guitarist Derek Trucks and vocalist/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, Tedeschi Trucks Band is a homegrown Jacksonville favorite.  The band christened Daily’s Place last year, performing the first ever concert in the brand-new amphitheater on opening weekend, May 27, 2017, before returning to play to a sold-out crowd in 2018.  Tedeschi also leant her voice to the Jaguars when she performed the national anthem before the team’s AFC Wild Card playoff game on Jan. 7, 2018. 

Celebrating its 10th year as a group in 2019, Tedeschi Trucks Band carries a distinguished reputation earned from both audiences and critics as one of the premier live bands in the world. TTB is recognized for their supreme musicianship and genre-defying ability to explore almost any musical territory.  Beyond the road, the band is preparing the launch of a fourth studio album, which follows their recent Grammy-nominated live album/film release, “Live from the Fox Oakland” (2017), and their last studio release, “Let Me Get By” (2016).  The soon-to-be announced new album is set for an early 2019 release.  Click here to access approved band photography.

Daily’s Place opened in May 2107 adjacent to EverBank Field, the home of the National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars.  A partnership between the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville, the state-of-the-art facility’s 5,500-seat amphitheater and indoor practice facility welcomed more than 200,000 attendees to events and concerts in 2017.  The new amphitheater has hosted performances by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Zac Brown Band, Chicago and Santana.  Details on all concerts coming to Daily’s Place can be found at www.dailysplace.com.
