Led by the husband and wife team of guitarist Derek Trucks and vocalist/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, Tedeschi Trucks Band is a homegrown Jacksonville favorite.  The band christened Daily’s Place last summer, performing the first ever concert in the brand new amphitheater on opening weekend, May 27, 2017.  Susan Tedeschi also leant her voice to the Jacksonville Jaguars when she performed the national anthem before the team’s AFC Wild Card playoff game on January 7, 2018.

The band’s latest release, “Live From The Fox Oakland,” debuted at #1 and #6 on Billboard’s Blues and Rock Album charts, respectively, and was just nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Album Grammy Award. Tedeschi Trucks Band is currently working on material for their next studio album and fans can expect to hear them road testing some of the new tunes over the summer run.

Daily’s Place opened in May 2107 adjacent to EverBank Field, the home of the National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars.  A partnership between the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville, the state-of-the-art facility’s 5,500-seat amphitheater and indoor practice facility welcomed more than 200,000 attendees to events and concerts in 2017.  The new amphitheater has hosted performances by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Zac Brown Band, Chicago and Santana.  Details on all concerts coming to Daily’s Place can be found at www.dailysplace.com.
